I am a Washington native and have lived in the greater Seattle area all my life. Specifically, I was born and raised in Des Moines, WA so I know the South King County and North Pierce County areas very well. 

After nearly 15 years in the airline industry I worked as a real estate appraiser. In 2004 I left both the airline industry and appraising behind me and became a full time real estate agent and Realtor.

What is unique about me and my services is that because of my strong appraisal background I am able to provide my clients with the utmost details, facts, and analysis of their home purchase or sale so that they can make the very best informed decisions.  My appraisal background has also given me some very strong tools for helping my clients see the bigger picture of buying and selling real estate and how it relates to value in the future.

I specialize in residential sales. I do not work with commercial clients although I can refer you to some great commercial real estate people.  My perfect client is someone that is buying or selling a home for themselves.  Whether it is their first home, fifth home, or vacation home! I want their real estate experience to be a positive one. It is fun for all of us when the home has an emotional value.  

My area of experise is North Tacoma (specifically the North Slope and Stadium Districts) and the communities that border the King County-Pierce County line like Milton, Edgewood, Fife, Federal Way, and Auburn.  In the picture of Tacoma below, the areas I track are the areas numbered with an 18,19,20,21, and 22.

I actively track the supply and demand of these areas.  I follow sales trends and I keep my clients informed as to the status of the market and where they fit into it at any given moment.  This information is valuable to both sellers and buyers. 

Even though I focus on North Tacoma, I have helped clients buy or sell homes in Ravensdale, Renton, Kent, Covington, Auburn, Enumclaw, Des Moines, Tacoma, Sumner, Bonney Lake, Puyallup, Fife, Edgewood, Milton, Spanaway, Univerisy Place, Seatac, South Seattle, Gig Harbor, and even Woodland and Longview.  The majority of my business is from referral so I go where my clients need me to go. And since I look at each real estate transaction like an appraiser does, I feel comfortable doing so.
